Write the keep-off before the extra coat
A rail that already holds weight should not take a heavy coat. A keep-off on the clip is easier to hand on than a spoken “there is still a gap”.
Many hand-offs stick on whether another garment may go on, not on how long the cover note is. Mark the keep-off. Then the occupancy card has a start. This page is a counter view. It is not a quote or a slot for any address.
